Wow, such a pleasant sight/read it made today morning for me. For me, this is a true representation of true Indian talent, born, brought up and educated in India, now leading one of the top most financial institutions. I guess we should now drop our fixation and disown the successful NRI’s from being representated as Indians, for the sheer reason that most of them don’t even know India, for they were neither born here nor brought up here, and in the few years that they have been outside they have eventually made their adapted country their home. How can they relate to India in any sense? If any can, I guess its people like these whose exclusive skill set is all Indian; a truly indigenous product. Good Luck to Mr. Banga.
It s just not that, the most pleasing fact was that he was educated in the same city as mine
“He grew up and schooled across India, successively in Secunderabad, Jalandhar, Delhi, Hyderabad and in Shimla, where he finished his schooling. “
Well you can now start watching out for me too :-P
Now can we have guys non IIT’s and IIM’s also stand up and show the world that it’s the efforts that matter the most than the degree or IVY league university that you come from.
