tere saath guzare har lamhe ke nakashi hain dil mein
tere aankhon se nikle har aanson ka gham hain hamein
tujhse keh na paayein karthe hain kitni mohabbat tumhein

Dil ke dhadkan ke awaaz mein bandhi saaz ho tum
Aankhon mein jo bas gayee woh murth ho tum
dheeme dheeme chalthi hawa ka paigham hain
kardoon ab yeh zindagi tere naam hain

khuda ke noor ka ek aisa namoona ho tum
jise khuda bhi na bana sake dubara
rehtho ho itne paas hamare tum
Yakeen se karthe ho mehroom humein tum.

zindagi kee iss safar mein sirf suffer hee suffer hain
pain hain unginath aur kushi hain finite
aaye they karne love but milta hain hate
zaalim hain duniya yahan miltha nahin koi date

sundarta milti nahin, milthi hain toh filthy hain
milavat kee duniya hain purity kee nahin koi surety
ab kaise jeeye hum iss duniya main jahan koi safety nahin

hogayi hain badi mushkil ladke lakde se phir nahin sakthe
Lakdiyan milti nahin ladke, lakde se jaatathe hain pyaar (read gay)
ladki kee baath bhi na karna doston yahan toh bahut kadki hain

Hyderabad has a rich heritage and true to its heritage, the people around here are talented enough, but then, sometimes the talent here overspills and hits you right on the face.

There was a certain time when most of the autos here had a brilliant verses written on their hood. I so much abhor that its almost got extincted. But then the bikers still try to carry the legacy forward, but then the limited space on offer and the hit on your face talent can make things interesting ala.....

jab tum paas hote ho, lagtha har sama khaas hain
aankhon mein chamak hain honton pe pyaas
khuda ke noor ka ek aisa namoona ho
jise khuda bhi na bana sake dubara

chand ku jaise kehthi ho dekh mera jalwa
aye bedaag tu na mujhe bata apana chehra
rehtho ho itne paas tum hamare
karthon ho yakeen se mehroom hume

Ae khuda ye teri khudaee bhi kya cheez hain
akkhon mein nahin roshini hamare
par dil par hukumat aisi, aashiqui, ka hamare
dekh jaate hain tere noor ku bin aakhon ke sahare

I was waiting for you
But you never came over
Life has moments very few
Today I missed one forever

Its your love that pulls me here
I know you would never come over
But I shall wait and wait forever

Whenever you see from up above the sky
I will feel that drop falling all over
Drench me it might but not quench my thirst

Its only our embrace that shall bring death
Only when I grace thy face shall my breath lose race
I shall wait and wait but shall never lose the chase

Double Dhamaka.......

Getting drenched in the shower is such a fun
Not having your arms around an equal pain
Its the first shower of the many more to come
Its the first tear of the many more to come

Sans you my life is robbed of all the gleam
Dark clouds covering the earth making it go gloom
How I wish the clouds open up soaking me all wet
How I wish you comeback and soak me in love glut

Wet Streets, rain washed garden and the rainbow
Come my dear lets put our love seeds to sow
Lets welcome the rain getting drenched in tow

Ho rahi hain baarish outside Im all alone inside
Rum hain haath mein aur gham hain saath mein
Atif kee awaaz hain radio par aur Shilpa ka yoga TV par
Baarish ne kar diya weather cool par heart hain painful

Aise mein koi hume karke hug karde thode se pain less
Itne bhi nahin hum bure kee humein chod doon rothe hue
Rum bhi ho rahi hain khatam par shaam ka sirf start hain
Intezaar ke gham ne kardiya tere liye feeling weak
Ab toh Shilpa bhi kethi hain see you next week

Eh zaalim lakdiyon yunh naa jao hume chod akele
Jab hamara waqt aayeha toh padhenge bahut papad belne
As they say every dog has its day!!!!!!

A HinGlish attempt by me :P .........

Jab se dekha hain tumhe dil mein hain turmoil
Dhadktha hain Dil kee jaise deepak without oil
Picasso kee painting ho ya mozart kaa music
chayee ho dil pe aise jaise sumadhur sangeeth

karthe hain wait tera bin dekha din ya raath
Ek baar window open karke karlo thode see baath
Iss pyaar ke bhoj ke maare ko de do cinkara kee sip

Sawaan ka mahina hain dil main lagi hain heat
Bahoon mein aise bharlon hojaaon main ekdum chilled
Ab aur nahin hota intezaar ho gaya hoon mein ekdum tired

Ab toh laga doon fullstop for this turmoil
dhadkane kardon smooth jaise engine with oil
Ban jaaon meri partner for a ride beautiful

Up in the air as I blew smoke
I said up there goes my worries
Little did I know it aint worries
It is life lovely that I blew up

It gave me a high when I felt low
When on a high it took me to a new high
Shining like a diamond in the hand
It never made me feel I was on quick sand

Slow and steady it kept me eating
The pleasure with-standing and feting
Little did I know the stick in white
Had no intentions good but all black and evil

Admired it as much for giving pleasure on burning
Only to realize that it aint burning alone
I vow not be enslave'd to the stick in white
But to fight and gift Thou a life bright

Smoke it out or get smoked out.....life is yours....choice is yours.

http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/biz/international-business/Delhi-whiz-Ajay-Banga-becomes-MasterCard-CEO/articleshow/5788801.cms

Wow, such a pleasant sight/read it made today morning for me. For me, this is a true representation of true Indian talent, born, brought up and educated in India, now leading one of the top most financial institutions. I guess we should now drop our fixation and disown the successful NRI’s from being representated as Indians, for the sheer reason that most of them don’t even know India, for they were neither born here nor brought up here, and in the few years that they have been outside they have eventually made their adapted country their home. How can they relate to India in any sense? If any can, I guess its people like these whose exclusive skill set is all Indian; a truly indigenous product. Good Luck to Mr. Banga.

It s just not that, the most pleasing fact was that he was educated in the same city as mine
“He grew up and schooled across India, successively in Secunderabad, Jalandhar, Delhi, Hyderabad and in Shimla, where he finished his schooling. “
Well you can now start watching out for me too :-P

Now can we have guys non IIT’s and IIM’s also stand up and show the world that it’s the efforts that matter the most than the degree or IVY league university that you come from.

A long cherished dream finally comes true!!!!

I have been scouting for one for too long too much and finally just about when my shoulders were dropping, my weary knees wilting, find did I, the most wanted and the most desired one of them. Just as they say, Patience bears sweet fruit, I would say not sweet this one the sweetest of em’ all. An absolute beauty, gorgeous looks, oh well I seem to running out of adjectives now.

Well power is something that I can’t just live without, and especially for Hyderabad it’s a must, because for Hyd traffic, you need to have that one which could give you a spurt of power in a short time. These spurts actually help to keep you ahead of the herd. And the other most important criteria or the all important criteria, you gotto have looks, if you aint got them you aint getting counted in by me. While I have had this dream of owning a UV for long now, the fact that it has come to realization is giving me goose bumps all over.

Just as the saying goes, dreams are not what you see in sleep, but they are what; that wont let you sleep. So, finally after keeping me awake for quite a few nights, finally here comes my super sexy, ultra mean looking machine named Je vous tromper, colored black(looks super sexy when waxed and polished); powered with a 4X4 wheel drive, automated fully, with touch sensors, and full on security features.; it could thwart any unusual activity with its 2 horns. Just not that, it’s a pretty ‘green’ machine too, you would be wondering when would it finally stop for the next re-fuel and an absolute no pollutant too (isn’t that green enough?). Alas!!!just as any of these sexy, mean machines, this one gives me a good nice on the top view of the road. Its not brand new though, a pre-owned one, aint rich enough yet. So guys enough of talking, I guess a picture of it would actually help you understand my feelings better. So go have a look at the picture and don’t forget to let me know how many of you wanna ride?

What a man, what an innings. Take a bow !!!!
It’s been such a marvel to having seen this guy bat for the last 20 years and then, he still has the gumption and the tenacity to provide such an innings. If anything, I want this man to sign off with that one elusive thing, the WORLD CUP. And, the signs are all looking ominous.

Well let me tell you guys, I’m an ardent fan of Rahul D to the fact that I only and only watch RCB matches and usually shut down the TV when he gets out. But Sachin’s been someone who has been top of my admirer’s list; can anyone keep off from admiring him? for the sheer enthusiasm that he displays on the field, for the hunger in scoring more and more runs; not for the records though as presumed my some d**k heads, but for the fact he knows that every run that he is scoring is adding up to team’s tally and it’s that many number of runs that opposition has to score.

Coming to yesterday’s knock, well what can someone say; I would rather shut my mouth and ask people to feel the delirium that he caused than talk about it. When he reached 100 in 25 overs, I felt he had a chance to crack that elusive double ton and with every over passing by I felt that he was reaching all the more nearer. By the 40 over mark, I certainly felt that it was the now or never time for him. Because great men don’t need second chance and he probably must have felt the first chance passed by in New Zealand and today it was such a kind of day that nothing could stop him, not the body that started cracking up a little bit and not the wild slogger that was pushing everyone to the edge of the eat with his ugly play and was almost robbing the champ of some valued batting time.

I must thank my office folklore for switching on the TV right when I was in cafeteria and in the anticipation of his double ton, not only could I watch him score the double ton but also actually cheer for each run, and the scenes in the cafeteria were reminiscent of being in a stadium, oh well I was there when he had hit that magnificent 183 in Hyderabad and the cafeteria was no less a sight/sound. Despite all the odds of carrying the batting all these years what amazed me more was that he didn’t panic when the Dhobi eeeerrrrr Dhoni was trying hog his share of light(not limelight) but kept his cool for he wanted the team to score more run than he making a double ton. While I don’t fault with Dhoni for his batting but a little more thought into his head, Sachin could have made more and made the record in itself a lot more elusive, not that it is any now. Oh yeah, and we must not forget Charl Langeveldt, who though is just about a decent bowler but now has his named etched in the history forever for being the guy with the ball.

For now, let’s take a bow for providing us all with what is an innings that comes once in a lifetime and we all have been thrilled that it came during ours.

It’s been a tragic day today, very tragic in effect. As I stepped into the office today morning I was thunder-bolted by the news of the demise of a close friend, manager (former) and mentor Vasu. Making the news more tragic is the fact that it was a road accident that killed him, robbing us of a very good human being untimely. I just wanted to put together this as my tribute to a wonderful man who helped me in all the way that he could professionally and personally. We (talking on behalf of a couple of my friends here) all admired Vasu for the great human being and the manager he was. An energetic and dynamic guy who always wanted us to have good work-life balance and always encouraged us to do things the way we wanted.

Personally I had a forged a very close relationship with him, and it was just 2 days back I had a chat with him, where he mentioned about his trip to Western Ghats, little did we know that it would eventually be our last chat. He has been part of some good moments of my life and will always be there is in my memories. The little banter that we used to have as team mates and the relationship that we shared on and off office are something’s that cannot be erased forever. It indeed is a big blow for me since, as said it was not just friendly relationship that we shared, but I looked up to him as a mentor and he had been a guiding force for me during my professional moves and would have continued to do so, if not for this untowardly incident.
With a very heavy heart and moist eyes, I would like to sign off with the prayer
May His soul rest in peace. We will miss you Vasu, we will miss you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
