Since writing my last blog, I have been trying to arrive at a Blog-o-pic (Blog Topic) that I could share with you all, but could not. I wanted to write a blog that was more generalized than my last 2 topics and after days of frantic thinking I found the following idea as the best suited. You can consider this as a sequel to my last blog where I was very specific, and this is a more generalized version of the same.
I think the picture to be quite clear for most of you by now, incase it is not, I’m going to talk about people in my life after my family, my friends. After my family might sound a little clichéd, because, I have always given more preference to friends over family and for reasons unknown to me. But the fact is that friends have played a major role in my life and I’m very fortunate to have some very intellectual and matured guys as my friends. Being with these guys (please read as both boys and girls no bias here;)) has definitely helped me improve at a much better pace than I probably would have done otherwise.
I sometimes feel amazed as to how I could be so lucky to have all of you as my friends. I do agree that “Birds of a feather fly together.”, I must say that its not true all the time. One look around; and you will find hundreds of instances where this isn’t really true.
I have always found great solace in being with friends and the fact reinforcing it is my Sunday evening. We are group about 6 guys and all of us assemble on Sunday evening to spend some time together and the urge to spend time together is so strong that irrespective of where we are, we all guys make our best efforts to reach the commonplace by evening. And what we do is nothing but plain gossip, pulling each other’s legs and of course girls and cricket, after all Men are Men. J.
Not just at home, but professionally too I have made a lot of long lasting relations and the major part of the audience reading this blog belongs to the same. There is a huge desire to catch up with some of you, whom I have not personally met for some days, but thanks to gmail and mobile technology, irrespective of the distance we still can feel each other nearby, its just a matter of saying Hi or just a dial away. While there are plans in the pipeline to catch up with you guys as early as possible, I really wish if that day is tomorrow itself. Anyways distance grows bonding so maybe we were destined to be this way and it better be this way.
One of the feedback that I got was to make my blogs shorter to make them more interesting, so I would like to cut short now and before I leave. Wish you all guys a
Happy Ugadi, Gudi Padva. For us this signifies a new year and I hope this year will be brighter than ever not only for me but to all of you and the world in general. So keep having fun the way you know best and remember not to forget Eat Healthy, Sleep Well Dream Good and Keep Rocking…………
Cheers
Maverick.

For the Most Divine Creation ever by God!
Heartfelt thanks to all of you who read my first blog and also for your lovely wishes. I choose today to write my second blog because; it represents an auspicious day and wanted to pay a tribute to the most divine
creation of God. Well this caption of an advertisement of a jeweler captured my eye, reading. A Divine creation for another.
I must admit whoever has written it is a true genius. (If it’s a guy ;))
I take this opportunity to pay my tributes to few of the wonderful women to have graced my life and helped me improve as a human being. And the person heading the list is of course my Mom, undoubtedly my lucky charm; I feel all my luck’s because of this woman. There is general belief stating that it brings good luck if the guy inherits maternal (Oedipus complex) characteristics and the daughter inheriting paternal characteristics (Electra complex). In that way I inherit a lot of my mom’s characteristics making me one among the luckiest in the lot. She is a true epitome of patience when it comes to dealing with me, for, though I have not been brash during my childhood, but of late I have become one; a tough to handle nut and any mom can swear that handling a grown up son is no mean task and with someone like me having huge mood swings, the task is a real challenge. She definitely deserves a huge applause for the way she has been handling me and that’s one reason why I have handed her the responsibility to find the eternal woman of my life, instead of me searching for one. I can probably put down some pages together writing about her and how she happens to be my lifeline, but all that sometime later.:)
The next one to whom my head bows is my little darling sister, for whom I’m a role model. I don’t think I have been as good as I personally would have liked to her, but I have tried to do the best possible, with whatever I could do. Coming to her, she is once again someone who tolerates a lot of my antics and though she does not have the patience as my mom (don’t expect her to have either), but for her age she is putting up a tremendous front and I really doubt if someone else in her place can be as brave as she has been. I really look forward to payback some of it in the coming future; a total payback is out of question here.
Apart from the two women above who are my family the others following are my friends and it’s a pretty irony that for someone whose fame lies in being harsh to girls, I have developed a few women/girls as good mates. Being a non confidant, I usually don’t open to anyone, but there have been only two persons, who have been able to open me up and get me talking and both of them being women has made me write this blog. Though very few women have graced my life, all of them have helped me improve as a person and helped me evolve as a better human being. There are certain people whom I would like to thank personally, but I would not like to name them here, but will provide some references for them to make themselves out. One among them is my college friend who is Brit now, other is a young lady from my previous company and the one other is from my current company, who is currently on the rolls of company but you will not find her in my company anywhere. I hand picked these three women because, two of them I have already referenced above and the other lady I admire is because of her strength, grit and determination, which I don’t usually find in women. It always puts up a pleasing note, when I see these women who are very strong mentally and have that I dare win attitude.
Nevertheless it does not mean these are the only women who have played a role in moulding my life but, the fact is everyone among you, reading this blog has and I’m sure will continue doing so as time passes. As I said earlier, I can be pretty obtrusive at times, esp. towards girls and might probably have been to all of you at some point, if that has been the case any time, I tender my sincere apologies to you all.
So to wind up this blog I would say that Women are undoubtedly one of the most wonderful creation of God and it is unnecessary of me to state the importance that you carry in a man’s life, because you are the ones who carry us forward and your strength and mettle shows from the very fact that God has picked you as the chosen one to perform some of the most difficult and pain staking tasks in this world, ,leaving Men be what they are best being and the only way they know, which is to be Men.
I always have this struggle when I want to write a blog, with nothing striking my mind, and one stanza down, my mind start brimming with ideas and I usually find myself expressing my self about 10% and the length has already reached about 2 pages. But since I know its gets pretty boring when you have to read through long stories, so in an attempt to cut it short, I ‘m reserving my self not to talk a lot and in the process, I have left a lot to be spoke of, but I wish I’m able to convey the message behind. So to wind up I would request all the torch bearers of the family, to Eat Healthy, Sleep Well Dream Good and Have FUN and definitely not to forget, I’m waiting for your lovely comments.
